The Product Manager will define product requirements and business objectives including content, design, technology, revenue streams, marketing and sales strategies, competitive analysis and business development. Responsibilities will include: leading implementation; monitoring the product's effectiveness and managing product evolution and growth; developing business relationships with third-party companies for technologies, applications and content; and managing cross-functional teams (editorial, marketing, IT, design, and sales) during product development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Internet experience with responsibilities that directly impacted revenue or product. S/he must possess excellent product and project management skills, an understanding of the needs of the audience, and the ability to direct all aspects of a multifaceted online project. Strong organizational and people-management skills are required, as well as a solid knowledge of Web-based business tools/technologies.
